How to see the missing pieces
[edit]@Onel5969 deleted this twice as "promotional blurb". It came off a library description of the set:
The following is the publisher's description:
Documentary on the animated motion picture Fantasia (1940) and its restoration and re-release in 1990. The story of the making of the film is interspersed with interviews and commentaries by Walt Disney, conductor Leopold Stokowski, creative artists involved in the production, critics, and others, as well as substantial excerpts from the film itself. Of special interest to dancers is archival footage of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, featuring Marge Champion, which formed the basis for the Dance of the Hours. Included in the documentary is unused footage for Debussy's Clair de lune, Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, and the Bumble Boogie, a swing version of Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee.

- Actually, I deleted it once. Markhh also deleted it. For the same rationale. Publisher's descriptions are purely promotional (as they should be, from their perspective), and have no place in an encyclopedia.Onel5969 TT me 14:08, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
A sorcerer is not a wizard
[edit]Wizards do not exist in this film. There is a magic user that is sorcerer who has an apprentice but that is not the same thing. I removed Category:Wizards in film from the article as there was no mention of a wizard in the article text so by WP:CATVER that category is not supported by anything in the article. I mean can you add a comma between in 1998 and the American Film Institute ranked it as the 58th greatest American film in their 100 Years...100 Movies and the fifth greatest animated film in their 10 Top 10 list. ? 68.12.168.117 (talk) 03:47, 13 February 2022 (UTC)

In the home media section, it fails to mention the non-r1 dvd contains the laserdisc and vhs edit, but has the 2000 Corey Burton narration. Homemediahero (talk) 03:28, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. 💜 melecie talk - 05:04, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
