Cretan origin to Nerva-Antonine dynasty?

[edit]

The section on the White Horse seems to imply the Five Good Emperors or some of them were of Cretan origin, and cites a book I can’t get hold of. The link via archery is also weak - archers were common motif throughout the Graeco-Roman world. What is this about? Nothing I can find refers to any of them having Cretan ancestry. If this is some scholar’s speculation, it should at least be clarified. 2600:1017:B80A:DDB6:E020:BA23:6632:4909 (talk) 17:19, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
