Advertising

I've removed the section regarding tram advertising again because a list of all past, present a future advertising on trams is:
1. Original Research
2. Not verifiable, there are no sources and there are likely to never be any usable sources.
3. Irrelevant to the article, to the tram's operations, history and future. Wikipedia is not a directory.

Hatnotes

Could you please not remove the hatnote links to the main tramcar articles? While they may not have detailed information on Adelaide (provided in the Glenelg tram article) they are still noteworthy as the primary outline for information and contain some technical details for the tram types. Hatnotes are appropriate where there are more detailed articles beneath, e.g. the H class. The Adelaide section in the Flexity article is fairly useless, having no cites and being 5 years out of date. The Citadis article only makes brief mention in a table with little prose. So in both cases, this article is the more detailed and no reason to hatnote these when a standard wikilink is sufficient. Bullgold14 (talk) 00:48, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Name of the article?

Now that the Glenelg line is no longer the only tram line in Adelaide, Is it still appropriate to call this page "Glenelg Tram"? Shouldn't it be something like "Adelaide Tram lines" now? 36.255.48.99 (talk) 03:11, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Glenelg tram" refers to the modern light rail system as a whole (the original Victoria to Moseley route plus the extensions). "Adelaide tram lines" refers to the historic tramcar system that ran throughout the suburbs. – Nick Mitchell 98talk 12:33, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have completed a page move in order to change the title to Glenelg tram line, South Australia, as forecast 3 months ago. The matter was also discussed at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Adelaide.
