Motivations?

[edit]

Just was watching the CBC special "October 1970"... What exactly where the motivations of these groups? Besides just knowledge of socialism, I suspect that there were economic inequalities (or discrimination or something similar) in the society that furthered these types of movements. It would add a lot to the article to include some coverage of this aspect of things. --70.51.230.151 03:19, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

8 deaths?

[edit]

I was reading the article on the FLQ on the Canadian Encyclopedia, and it says six deaths? not 8? I would look into that and maybe adjust that in the article here. https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/october-crisis 216.183.149.61 (talk) 18:21, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

We can make a article about the insurgency in quebec?

[edit]

I Really Think that we can create a own article for The Insurgency In Quebec, Because, if there was more parties not just one in the conflict, it should has a own page telling about all of the conflict, and the movement page just for the attacks and etc. Jaztie não é árabe (talk) 00:10, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you're referring to the October Crisis, the only group involved was the FLQ. If you're referring to Quebec separatism in general, the Quebec sovereignty movement article covers the topic thoroughly. Yue🌙 01:23, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
