These are pages I've saved after they were marked with {{delete}}. It is not that I have particular knowledge of these, just that I did basic research and used some common sense. Some items marked as CSD's are saved much more easily, by making a simple redirect, or marking as a stub or by adding wiki-links. Similar methods can be used instead of VFD submission.

Here's how I usually approach them:

  1. Go to the page and click the "What links here" - this usually provides the conext I need.
  2. Google search Wikipedia for existing information related to the article:
    • First, limit the search to this site - just add site:en.wikipedia.org to your search (no quotes).
    • Sometimes I'll also use this to search site:.gov for public domain text I can use as a base for re-write/expansion.
    • Do a broader search so I can populate "External links", to make it easier for future authors.
  3. After editing, I'll then try to add inward links wherever appropriate.
