Is there nothing published about the F-15 avionics

[edit]

Is there nothing published about the F-15 avionics, or is it classified ? Compare with F-14 CADC with recently unclassified description of MP944 chips involved. - Rod57 (talk) 22:07, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

F15I

[edit]

The f15I is missing from the variants list. 176.230.98.161 (talk) 20:33, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

F-15I is based on the F-15E, see McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle#F-15I. -Fnlayson (talk) 20:45, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sea Eagle Stuff

[edit]

The "Sea Eagle" should be called the "Seagle" or the "Seagull" (this is not a serious topic.) Taffy boeing b 17 (talk) 16:28, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

List of Avionics

[edit]

Fnlayson, you removed the See Also entry linking to a list of electronic equipment with the comment that "the electronic inventory is not closely related". I'm a bit confused because the avionics are mentioned prominently throughout the article. The list previously linked has several references to the Eagle. The 2 pages are very related, and readers will likely find it interesting. I am currently working diligently to improve the readability of the list. I'd appreciate if you could revert your change. — TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 00:22, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

They did not seem that way at first to me. I am finding around 10 or so entries in that list page that mention the F-15 (a fraction of total entries). But it is a related list and similar to the others in the navbox template. So I'll add it back. Regards, -Fnlayson (talk) 01:20, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. As I update the page, I am converting it to a table with a column specifically for which aircraft a device was installed. As I go, I’m updating information and citations, and removing red links. So far, in a subpage to my userspace, I think it is coming along nicely. But, I’m also convincing myself the list should be split into subpages. — TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 01:48, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
