Note that the official coordinates and the written description for this crater contradict each other. The official USGS coordinates place it to the west of Plato, while the written description of this feature require it to be to the south of Plato. Personally I think an error lies with the official coordinates, but I didn't want to leave that impression in the text. So I just mentioned the discrepancy as a note. — RJH 15:47, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I asked the USGS Astrogeology team about this issue, and their representative said that the correct location was 'Plato A'. The error in the bulletin was due to a mix-up. — RJH 17:25, 20 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
