Edit history

[edit]

Due to a copy and paste merge from here to Clearing house (finance) followed by an article move over the redirect here, most of the edit history in this article belongs to the article Clearing house (finance) and this article has lost its edit history. This would need an administrator to resolve - Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Fixing cut-and-paste moves, WP:Parallel histories. Whizz40 (talk) 18:09, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New York Cheque Clearing 1853

[edit]

I changed the wording relating to when the outside clerk faces the inside clerk. The Campbell-Kelly reference did not say what the previous edit had said. It just said "perform the day’s transactions with the bank they now faced" .https://dl.acm.org/doi/pdf/10.1145/1831407.1831417 The only thing the outside clerk could possibly have been doing was selling a bundle of cheques to the inside clerk.
