The result of the debate was KEEP. —Korath (Talk) 19:09, Mar 1, 2005 (UTC)
Geek-cruft or encyclopedic information? Are all fellows of the Royal Society considered to be inherently noteworthy and encyclopedic? If so, why? If not, what about this article establishes personal notability for this figure and why should this information be kept? GRider\talk 20:04, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep Google reveals that he also takes lovely underwater photos and was crowned Miss Teen of the Nation in 2002! Ok, ok, those are probably other people, but I'd say this guy is notable anyway. He's been published quite a bit, see http://www.york.ac.uk/depts/biol/staff/sanders/webc.htm Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 20:37, Feb 21, 2005 (UTC)
- Keep, he does have a number of publications in good peer reviewed journals. Its actually pretty hard to get in to the Royal Society, so I'd say that most members are probably notable at least for their academic pursuits--nixie 22:13, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep, and expand. @ Megan1967 23:43, 22 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep members of the Royal Society, since it's hard to get in. Kappa 02:52, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. Notable biologist. As well as being a member of the Royal Society, he also appears to be members of several editorial boards for peer-reviewed journals. Capitalistroadster 10:46, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. Deletioncruft VFD nomination.--Centauri 12:26, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep Good term. Wincoote 23:53, 24 Feb 2005 (UTC)
