Trim "1991–1993: Hollywood breakthrough"?

[edit]

The second to last paragraph in this section is enormous and ought to be broken down some, but I'm not sure all the info in it belongs in this article. The last half contains a lot of behind-the-scenes information about The Crow that might be better off in the film's article instead of this one.

I was going to go through and fix that paragraph's grammar issues, but content review should probably come first. CaribouFanfare (talk) 02:57, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nice to get feedback. You are right that this information could be used in The Crow's article, however, all this information is in direct contact with Lee's preparation for the role.Filmman3000 (talk) 06:08, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Actor pages don’t usually have extensive role prep info, even if they’re known for a certain role. I’m not sure why it’s necessary info here as opposed to a curiosity. CaribouFanfare (talk) 20:34, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry did not edit in ages. I was under the belief that when something was specific to ones performance it could be added.Filmman3000 (talk) 05:40, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Defective blank

[edit]

The passage about the defective blank is factually incorrect; there was nothing wrong with the blank. Rather, the hero bullet used in the previous shot was defective. This bullet was supposed to be visible on camera; bullets like this are actual bullets, but with the gunpowder removed and the primer deactivated. Normally this makes a hero bullet an inert and perfectly safe piece of metal. Unfortunately, the primer of this particular bullet was not deactivated and when the gun was fired, the tiny explosion was just enough to detach the bullet from the casing and into, but not out of, the barrel. Because the same gun was used for firing blanks and hero bullets and because the gun was not checked to see if the hero bullet had behaved itself, a perfectly normal and safe blank was now loaded into a now effectively loaded and very dangerous gun. I see that this is explained later in the Death section, but that doesn't change the fact that the earlier passage is wrong. Keep in mind that not everyone reads the entire article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.61.180.106 (talk) 00:26, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No edit wars wanted

[edit]

He was a martial artist and he did not get married in 1990. He was just engaged when he died. This is all common knowledge Blu Moon (talk) 16:13, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes @Blu Moon, I tried to get this page close from unregistered editors ages ago, because a sociopath would every once in a while delete the article and write creepy stuff. I am looking at the war edit from September 22, 2022. I do believe that user @FMSky is well intended and just got confused by the two unregistered editors who were war editing.
I'll have to dig a little to find the posts, but I really want to stop unregistered editors to work on this specific page.Filmman3000 (talk) 18:02, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
