I removed the following definition from the page (perhaps it could be merged elsewhere?):

It is one of the traditional names assigned by folklore to the anonymous Magi mentioned in the Gospel of Matthew account of the Nativity of Jesus. It is also sometimes given as Gaspar. The name is a variant of the Persian Jasper - "Master of the Treasure" - from which the name of the mineral jasper is derived. The other uses below derive from the name of the legendary magus.
